Metro High School has a long and proud history of excellence that is promoted
by a diversified program that allows every student to "Stretch Your Mind; Expand Your World." At Metro, students are divided
into 8 different "academies" that operate as firms and corporations.
Our Staff
We have an experienced and dedicated group of teachers and administrators. We have the best of the best history, language,
law and business educators as well as general teachers that are great leaders in their subject area.
Our Students
Metro attracts talented students from every side of town. The student body is made up of a diverse number of ethnicities,
genders and talents. To the left, you see Emanuel Luke who received an award for most improved student of the year. Emanuel
moved to the U.S. two years ago from Venezuela, and he has adjusted very well by learning a new language, customs and maintaining
a B+ average.
